Gisele Bundchen Tops The Forbes Magazine List

Gisele Bundchen topped the Forbes Magazine's list of the World's Top-Earning Models for the second year in a row.

Gisele, who is famous for the promotional campaigns for Pantene, Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors reportedly earned an estimated $35 million in 2007 which was far more than the also rans.

The runners up were Heidi Klum - $14 million

Kate Moss - $7.5 million

Adriana Lima - $7 million

Doutzen Kroes - $6 million

Liz Hurley doesn't talk to Hugh Grant about his love life

Liz Hurley dated Hugh Grant for 13 years and says that she is still very close to him but draws the line at hearing about his sexual exploits.

Liz, who is now married to the Indian businessman Arun Nayar, said, "We don't do love life really but just stick to business.

Hugh is someone I trust enormously. I still very much use him as my sounding board. I can work with him and not worry about sounding like a prat. We are very lucky to have that. I am also incredibly lucky that he gets on so well with my husband Arun".

Liz also revealed that she frequently pesters Hugh to take on more acting roles, "I am always trying to persuade Hugh to work, to do a movie. I just love people to be busy. I think everyone needs to be busy".

Russel Brand says he'd be perfect for Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman is being pursued by the womanizing British comic star Russell Brand.

Russell recently told Nuts magazine, "Uma Thurman is lovely. She's like a gorgeous statue that's come to life. I just want to crawl up onto her lap and pretend to be a baby".

Russell is not however saving himself for Uma, and revealed that he had an affair with a weather girl when he was in the U.S. shooting 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall'.

He said, "I must say it was tremendous fun. I just said, 'Hello, give us a cuddle, please,' and she went, 'Right, here's the weather', let me tell you, it was stormy that night, with a very warm front!".

Russell, who is set to become a global star after winning rave reviews for his performance in the movie 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' in which he stars with Kirsten Bell said that he based his character 'Aldous Snow' on a combination of different rock stars. "I based Snow on a number of people, one of whom was Sir Mick Jagger, who, in his heyday, was a gloriously aloof, sexually androgynous prince of decadence. And more laterally, Oasis stars Liam and Noel Gallagher".

Gisele Bundchen Is Set To Appear In New Austin Powers Movie

According to the latest reports, Gisele Bundchen will appear as the love interest in a new Austin Powers movie, which means she will join celebrities like Elizabeth Hurley, Heather Graham, and Beyonce Knowles who also got roles in the earlier sequels.

Boston Globe' sources say that Brazilian supermodel Gisele is the next star to receive the female lead in the Mike Myers-spy comedy and that she has been given the script to the forthcoming installment of Austin Powers.

Gisele Bundchen is one of most successful supermodels in the world but has so far not expanded her film and TV career although she did play a small role in 'The Devil Wears Prada'.

Natalie Portman cast to play in 'Wuthering Heights'

Natalie Portman is set to star in a new big-screen version of 'Wuthering Heights' and will play Catherine Earnshaw in the movie adaptation of Emily Bronte's 1847 novel.

The film's director John Maybury had initially wanted a British actress to play Cathy, whose ill-fated relationship with Heathcliff is the basis for the story which is set on the Yorkshire moors but was finally convinced by Natalie that she would be perfect for the part.

The film's producer Robert Bernstein said, "Natalie is an extraordinary actress and is right for the role".

Lindsay Lohan and Keira Knightley were also up for the part and Maybury recently said, "I certainly wouldn't count Keira out but it's whether or not she wants to get back into period costume because she's been in a few period dramas and I don't count Lindsay Lohan out either. I really believe in the girl and she's coming out from the other side of her well-documented problems and she just needs to be treated seriously."

Colin Farrell is one of the favorites for the role of Heathcliff.

Reports suggest that Beyonce and Jay-Z got married on April 4

According to recent reports, Beyonce and Jay-Z  got married on April 4, in New York.

Neither Beyonce's or Jay-Z's reps have denied or confirmed the reports but preparations for a big event are taking place right now at the 'Tribeca' apartments in New York and a box from 'Amy's Orchids' was just delivered and 'CC Rental' has been making deliveries as well.

This leads to the question, "are the wedding rumors correct?".

Seems like we'll know for sure tonight.

Rihanna says that she and Chris Brown are "like brother and sister".

The 'Umbrella' singer Rihanna, recently responded to rumors that she and the 'Gangsta Boo' star Chris Brown were dating after they were seen on holiday together earlier this year by saying that she doesn't think of him romantically, "We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. I won't say that we're just friends, me and Chris are really best, best friends. We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry that I trust and hang out with all the time. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that".

Chris also confirmed he has no interest in pursuing a relationship with Rihanna, saying: "People keep asking me, 'What's the deal?' and I'm like, There's no deal. No deal.' We're just friends. At our age, I think you should be yourself and see as many girls as possible!".
 

Kate Moss seems set to get married

The supermodel Kate Moss, who has been dating 'The Kills' guitarist Jamie Hince since last August is believed to have got engaged during the couple's recent break in Amsterdam.

A beaming Kate reportedly emerged from a bar in the Dutch city and told fans: "I'm getting married!"

One onlooker added to Britain's The Sun newspaper, "The pair were in a bar looking very loved-up. Kate was so excited it looked like she had just accepted his proposal there and then. She was very happy. She came out giggling and seemed a little bit drunk. Lots of fans were taking her picture on their mobile phones. She told them she was getting married and when one girl asked her when, she said, 'Soon'".

Kate's friends are thrilled that she is finally settling down after her turbulent romance with Pete Doherty and one of them said, "We're all so happy for Kate. Everyone was worried she would end up with Pete, who we thought was no good for her. We were convinced that, for some unknown reason, she saw him as the love of her life. Jamie looked like it could have been a bit of a rebound thing at first, but now it seems like it's the real deal".

Kate has a five-year-old daughter named Lila from a previous relationship and she split up with Pete who is the 'Babyshambles' frontman last June following claims that he had cheated on her with a South African model.

Nicole Richie To Launch A Jewelry Collection

Nicole Richie is said to be moving ahead with plans to launch her own jewelry collection in the autumn 2008.

Nicole said in an announcement at the opening of a Joel and Benji Madden DCMA Store that she is currently working on an unnamed fifty piece jewelry collection which will be sold in stores similar to Fred Segal and Kitson.

Carmit Bachar quits the Pussycat Dolls

The singer, Carmit Bachar joined the band the 'Pussycat Dolls' in 1995 when it was a burlesque group announced yesterday that she is leaving to "pursue other projects".

Carmit was one of the band's three main vocalists along with Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton and it is believed that they and the group's other members, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Ashley Roberts will continue as a five-piece group.

The groups first single, 'Sway', was released in 2004 but worldwide success only came in 2005 with 'Don't Cha' and they have since gone on to enjoy several hit singles and a multi-million-selling album.

A large number of stars have made guest appearances with the Pussycat Dolls over the years, including Eva Longoria Parker, Pamela Anderson, Denise Richards, Nicollette Sheridan, Salma Hayek and Jaime Pressly.

Lindsay Lohan warns her younger sister about the pitfalls

Lindsay Lohan, who completed a two month stint in rehab last year because of drink and drug problems is said to be encouraging her sister Ali who is 14 and already an aspiring actress to avoid all the pitfalls that she herself endured.

Lindsay said, "I've urged her to keep her head on straight. She needs to stay away from clubs! But I wish her the best of luck".

Ali is already set to appear in a reality TV show with her mother Dina and recently admitted in an interview with 'Teen Vogue' magazine that "she is desperate to be famous".

Asked about herself, Lindsay said that she has recovered from the problems that plagued her last year, "I'm doing great. I'm really focused".

Regarding a high-rise property that she just bought in New York, she said on the US TV show 'Extra', "The security is fantastic here, which I think is really important. It's hard to have a private life and keep relationships and that sort of thing, but I had four days off from them recently in Los Angeles and they didn't follow me at all".

Victoria Beckham Refuses To Go To The Gym

Victoria Beckham, who now lives in Los Angeles with her soccer star husband David and their three sons became a member of her local sports centre but doesn't like the idea of wearing unflattering sneakers.

She said, "I have joined a gym but I can't bring myself to start. Obviously working out is important, well, I don't. What do you wear on the running machine? I can't bring myself to wear flat shoes".

Victoria, who will grace the cover of Britain's Vogue magazine for the first time in its latest issue also revealed that she loves high heels so much that she buys them even if they don't have her size.

She said, "If they haven't got my size, I stick toilet paper in them to make them fit".

Jordan said to be buying her own private jet for £4.5 million.

Jordan , whose real name is Katie Price is said to be in the final stages of purchasing a Hawker 900 plane which she plans to paint pink with matching upholstery.

Jordan and her husband Peter Andre who have a home in Cyprus have apparently decided to splash out on the jet after looking at the sky-high figures for their family travel plans this year.

The bill which includes the couple, their three children, Jordan's five year old son Harvey from a previous relationship and the pair's two year old son Junior, and eight month old daughter Princess Tiaami, plus the kids' nannies would have cost a staggering £150,000 for the 12 month period.

A source said, "She has three round trips planned to Australia so the cost of taking the family abroad this year looked ridiculous. When she gets the jet she intends to take flying lessons".

The couple are hoping to cover some of the costs by hiring out the plane when they are not using it.

Rihanna is the 'Barbados Ambassador For Culture And Youth'

Just one day after she celebrated her 20th birthday, the pop sensation Rihanna was named the 'Ambassador for Culture and Youth' for her home country of Barbados on Thursday night.

She was given the title by Prime Minister David Thompson at a tribute concert held in her honor in 'Independence Square'.

Rihanna said, "I really don't know what to say. I am so grateful and I have never been more proud to be Bajan".

Barbados to have a new national holiday - Rihanna Day

Rihanna is all set to be honored with a national holiday in her home country of Barbados.

The 'Umbrella' singer is said to be thrilled after discovering that the Caribbean island will declare February 21, 'Rihanna Day'.

A source said, "She's really flattered. She can't believe she now has her own national day, it's such an honor".

Rihanna will fly out to Barbados to accept the honor and perform a free concert.

She will apparently be accompanied on the trip by Chris Brown.

The pair have denied dating but Chris celebrated her birthday early last week along with friends including Kanye West and actor Wilmer Valderrama at Los Angeles's Les Deux nightclub.

Chris sang an acappella version of 'Happy Birthday' to Rihanna and onlookers said that the pair were "cuddling and acting very cozy all night".
